LOIS LORIMER and MICHAEL FRASER

 

 

LOIS LORIMER

Lois Lorimer is a poet, actor and teacher. Lois Lorimer’s new collection, Stripmall Subversive is published by Variety Crossing Press.

Her poetry chapbook, Between the Houses, was published by Maclean Dubois in Edinburgh in 2010.

Her poems have appeared in leading literary journals, including Arc, Literary Review of Canada, and Hart House Review, as well as in anthologies The Bright Well (Leaf Press: 2012), and Connectivism (Variety Crossing Press: 2012).

As an actor, Lois Lorimer was a member of the Shaw Festival Company, working as well in film and radio drama. Born in Brockville, she now lives and teaches in Toronto where she is one of the founding editors of the online magazine of contemporary poetics, Influencysalon.ca.
 

MICHAEL FRASER

 

 
Michael Fraser is a high school teacher, poet, and writer.
 
He has been published in various anthologies and journals including: Literary Review of Canada, The Paris Atlantic, and Caribbean Writer.
 
His manuscript, The Serenity of Stone, won the 2007 Canadian Aid Literary Award Contest and was published in 2008 by Bookland Press. He won Arc’s 2012 Readers’ Choice Poem of the Year.
 
He is the creator and director of the Plasticine Poetry Series.
