To Stop Time
by Susan Manchester
I moved to Canada from the United States in 1993, when I married Michael Glicksohn.
Poetry has been part of my life since childhood; my mother gave me a copy of Stevenson’s A CHILD’S GARDEN OF VERSES when I very young and barely able to read. Painting, however, came to me later. I didn’t start painting until I moved to Canada. I have been a part of The Art Tour in Bloor West Village since 2006.
Poetry publications include: TICKLE ACE, THE GEORGIA REVIEW, THE ANTIGONISH REVIEW, THE SOUTHERN POETRY, FEMINIST STUDIES, THE COMSTOCK REVIEW and many others.
