Mike Lipsius author photoTrained as a journalist, his ability to observe small details reverberates through the heart of his poetry.

Mike Lipsius captivates with his quirky, creative, vulnerable yet powerful poetry. Again and again, he finds lovely gems in the centre of the chaos and holds them up to the light with honesty and humour.
– Kate Marshall Flaherty

Mike Lipsius’ poetry reads with a sullen, quiet camaraderie. It extracts the eloquence of casual happenstance, showing a fierce potency in being blunt and frank, while creating an elegiac tapestry woven with threads of sensitivity and grace.
